A Story That Stayed With Me
Long before Amora existed, there was a kind grandmother whose story stayed with me.
She experienced difficulties with walking, and over time, her condition became so severe that she had to rely on a wheelchair. People around her offered different explanations for her suffering. Some believed it was caused by black magic, while others suggested traditional remedies and rituals, including thovil.
She tried different approaches, hoping to find a way forward. But nothing seemed to bring the change she was searching for.
A New Path: Then, one day, through a friend, she heard about Reiki.
She knew very little about it. But after everything she had been through, she thought there was nothing wrong with trying something new.
So, she attended a Reiki session.
It was a different experience from what she had known before. Rather than someone promising to fix her, she discovered a practice centred on energy, stillness, and reconnecting with herself.
In Reiki, the practitioner acts as a channel for what is understood as universal life energy, offering guidance and creating space for relaxation and personal reflection.
For her, this became an important part of her journey. Over time, she regained the ability to walk, and her experience inspired her to learn Reiki herself.
She wanted to understand it more deeply. But more than that, she wanted to share it with others.
Throughout her life, she helped many people discover Reiki, offering guidance and compassion to those seeking their own paths towards wellbeing.
Her journey became more than a personal experience. It became a purpose: to share what she had discovered and help others explore the possibilities for themselves.
